Info on 2008 Victory 8 ball

Just wondering if anyone has had any personal experience with these victory bikes? I am going to look at one this coming weekend and was curious. I just love the looks of this bike. Half the price of a used harley of its year. Just thought I would ask. Thanks

I worked a a victory dealership in 08. I am not a polaris fan whatsoever but these bikes are pretty nice I dont have anything bad to say and a lot of fun to ride. We had a demo that I got to take home from time to time. Most all the service work I did was regular maintenance items. There were a few service bullients with upgraded parts. If you buy it bring the VIN to a dealership and see if any are still outstanding. People always let the drive belt get too loose and it would rub on the swingarm/belt guard making an annoying sound.

P.S. if you do a couple burn outs to get the tire sticky they rip wheelies pretty well

Thanks for the good advice on the bike! I am looking at this bike at a dealership so they should know whats up with it and have done the maintance on it. Ive never had a newer bike and have always wanted something pretty nice. I was really wanting to stay american made. Being made by the neighbor state I will not complain there. No offense to the import bikes.
