I've never really payed that much attention to pics on here. I honestly never seen any before. Can you buy them or do you have to rig them up yourself?

I have seen a pic. of a Tri-Z with them. I like the idea of haveing them but the ones on the Tri-Z that I saw were too big. Unfortunatly the pic. is on my home computer and I am at school .

There is one BIG difference about putting nerf bars on a three wheeler vs a quad. On a quad, the nerf bars are still behiend the front wheels. On a three wheeler, the are now sticking way out on the side. I knew a guy years ago that had nerf bars on a 185s. When we would ride in the woods, he kept getting them caught on things.

I can't wait to get my Yamahauler running to test them out. I guess you could call mine more of a brush gaurd than a nerf guard. There is an auction right now on eBay for a 'nerf guard' for a YTM200 or YTM225DX. It says they are Yamaha Assessories with mounting bolts and instructions included! They are way different than the ones on my Yamahauler in the topic link above.

The nerf bars would stick out but that is why I would buy them. I don't have too much of a problem with things hitting my feet but when riding 2 person the passengers feet stick out too far. I can remember riding my brothers Honda 110 with him and the weeds would pull my feet off the foot pegs and under the tires. I never was hurt but it would have been nice to have them back then.

I just took a pic of a brush guard, [Nerf bar] that came off one of my 86 Big Reds but I don`t know how to post it to this list. If somebody is interested I could post it by regular e-mail and they could put it on here for everybody interested.
