    82 250r big bore kit?

Ok I finally broke down and got a 2 stroke. The engine is locked up. I figure as long as I have it apart I might as well upgrade it. Anyone know where I can get a big bore kit for it? I WILL NOT buy anything off ebay!Click image for larger version.

I've got the perfect upgrade, no searching for parts one at a time, waiting for the mail, or wasted $$$ on shipping. Sell that broken one and buy mine.

I might consider it if you weren't so far away.

Good luck with that. It's getting harder by the day to find big bore kits for the air cooled 250Rs.

There's nothing like the sound of screaming 2strokes and the smell of race gas in the air

What do you have against EBay? There's a Big Bore Kit and new pistons/sleeves/gaskets,,,etc...

You may get lucky and find one for sale ready to go. I thought about parting mine out, I just don't want to get stuck with the parts after the engine and pipe are gone.

Check out Kustom Kraft Performance. I've got an 82 R and have been thinking about doing their Big Bore kit. From what I've read they do good work. Also, unlike old big bore kits, you won't have to hunt for pistons that are no longer available. Click here, scroll down, and you'll see the Honda kits: http://kustom-kraft.com/hondakits.html

Tossing some ideas around my head right now. I might sell my 300r Motor if the price is right. It's kind of late and I get crazy ideas in my head at work.

Save your money! Rebuild it. Porting, head work, bigger carb and pipe. These little R's can be built if you get the right combo.
