Update On the oneway clutch in a 250sx .........

The 250sx had a wining noise in the right side of the motor everytime it was shut off. So I replaced the one-way clutch in it today and then I restarted and then shut it. Guess waht happened? No more wining noise at all.
    Problem fixed!!!

Well Golly Sg. Carter, :-P I'm gonna try to order mine tommorow. Did here about all the goof-ups in mine  The nut for the manual clutch was almost backed fully off. My replacement cetrifigual clutch was from an early model 250 which I have now found is ever so slighty different than the later model motor I have. It had too much forward and back play. Oh and guess "this side out" written on the lock washers means, this side out!

I have never found the clutches to be different but they might have been. I too have found a few things wrong with stuff like you have. For some reason on the 250sx the kickstarter shaft slid out about 1" on this machine later tonight. So it will be tore into Monday night to find that problem. Looks to be a easy fix ( I hope ).
