yes all 70's have a lighting coil........the white plug on the harness is for front and rear lights... you could get them from honda a few years ago. 32100-937-810

I'd like to put lights on my 70 also!!! What kind of hardware do you need to install headlight/tail light on a 70?? will an atc 90 grab bar & tail light fit?? the wiring wont be a prob... I would just love to have it look as stock as possible...

Go to drat.com or hondaatc.com
they have all the equipment you will need. I don't know if the grab bar will fit or not. I know that the 73 and 74 grab bars are different than the later years.
I had a chrome head light off a Triumph installed on my 73 before I decided to go with a smaller head light. After reading these posts you can try using an LED tail light. Most guys use the red trailer lights you can pick up at most auto parts stores.
