I hope anyone reading discovers Black Lab, an overlooked contributor to the drive of personal reflection of the 90's.

    Bright Eyes, Firewall

The monologue at the beginning is from Denny Brewer, a musician from Texas. He passed away in 2017.

    The song starts at 2:22.

I wasn't listening to it, but while scanning the local FM radio stations I heard a song I haven't in a while and forgot just how awful the story is, while the music and tempo is really upbeat.

Garth Brooks – Mamas In The Graveyard Papas In The Pen

There's plenty of upbeat and catchy tunes that have dark lyrics, but I forgot about this one.

Dude murders his wife when he catches her cheating, by driving a truck through the motel room where she and her consenting adulterer were having relations.

I actually laughed out loud when hearing it, thinking about how it was a popular tune on public radio back in the day.

    Edit: Pappa Loved Mamma

I had to go back and look, mostly to see if there was a music video. That would've been horrible.

If someone truly loved another, they shure as hell wouldn't murder them, they'd be more apt to write themselves off. That isn't love, it's obsession.
