Wow! Seriously you guy"s down in the states sure have access to some smoking hot deals on 3 wheelers. Up here in Canada, they are extremely rare and when put up for sale, the seller demand STEEP prices
regardless if it runs or not..............

For humour sake, some of you should check out kijiji.ca atc250r's selling for $4000.00 and up
    Current 3 wheelers owned:
    2 - 1984 Honda 200X
    1 - 1985 Honda 200X
1 - 1985 Honda 200X (for parts, because it tumbled down a 200 foot slope)
    2 - 1985 Honda 250R
    1 - 1985 Yamaha YTZ 250 (TRI-Z)
    1 - 1986 Kawasaki KXT250 (Tecate)
    Vintage owned:
    1 - 1966 Pontiac GTO
    1 - 1988 Suzuki LT500R (QUADZILLA)........
    Snowmobiles:
    2008 Polaris Dragon 800

Wow. That thing has money pit written all over it. Still hard to pass up but it needs everything...

The rear suspension is interesting. Shock mounted to the upper link, which looks like it's welded to the frame???

Red tank is normal. They came red or green from Kawasaki in 84 and 85. I have one of each right now (red and green 85s) + an extra red tank. Might even have an extra green tank. And some front fenders. My Tecate thing got out of hand last year...

The 84/85s did not come with an overflow bottle - the overflow from the rad just dumped to the ground.

I like the 200X fender/seat on it. The fenders on my red one are crap.

I would have to agree with the money pit thing..I'd love to have a Tecate but by the time I was done fixing everything on the bike I probably could've bought one in mint condition off ebay

Don't give up on it too fast. As long as you jump into it with your eyes open, projects like that are fun. Just not as cheap as they look at the start.

I don't even understand the questions, I'd be like, who can tell me more about what I just bought? Lol. At that price you cannot go wrong. If nothing else hose it off and resell it on Craigslist for double or more or part it on eBay.
