I've been thinking about this a lot lately, and how big of an ATC I can fit in my Escape...mainly thinking about something to take hunting and not have to drag a trailer. I've looked at it from several different angles, measured inside, just have yet to try it out. I think I can probably fit a 110 or 125m inside with overall length being the only thing that might be a close fit, might have to turn down the handlebars, but that'd be it.
Anyone else ever had luck w/an ATC in a small SUV or even station wagon without having to break it down? I know I've seen one member that disassembles them and hauls them in a civic, so I'm sure I could make one fit, but I'm mainly looking to haul one w/minimum effort...I've got a 110 project trike, I guess I may have to get around to putting it together and see how well it works (or doesn't).
Anyway, feel free to throw ideas/experiences out there.
I have an old dodge caravan from the 90s ( the box style ones) and I was thinking about doing the same thing since it just sits in the back of my yard. I just need to take the seats out and try it. I was going to try it with my 200s since they are pretty small.
I put fully assembled ATC70s in the back of my Civic wagon all the time. I haven't tried a TRX yet but it's only a matter of time. Will probably need to loosen the bars and rotate them down:

I know, when I was a kid, Santa brought our first Odyssey home in the back of our 67 Malibu wagon. I never saw it though - Santa was sneaky. Still have the car (took my first license test in it). Might buy an Ody for giggles if the right one shows up. But it will come home in the E250 van.
No real help for you though - the 70s not much of a hunting trike.

Do it! My wife has an 05 Grand Caravan. I bet I can get the X or the R in it. The rear hatch/door might be a problem. I haven't tried it yet in the interest of matrimonial harmony. Great van - has the 3.8. Gets 27 MPG on the highway. Would be nice to use for the longer trips since my big van gets about 1/2 that. We had a 97 with the 3.3. I should have kept that one for me.
Yea my mom has the newer caravan, I feel like the old box shaped ones would fit a trike better though. It seems to me that it has more head room. The new ones the tops rounded off. But take out the seats and throw a tarp down it should be fine. It should be easy to get in too because it's pretty low to the ground. And I think the new ones are longer. One of these days i have to do some measuring. I haven't been out lately because I'm still healing from surgery.
I have a Ford Windstar and with all the seats removed (except for the front 2) I can fit a 85' 250r, ATC 70,and a Yamaha ttr-50e. One of these days I would like a full size van .

this might be a little off topic but might work good for hunting. i was thinking of building a trailer just big enough to fit an atc, its main purpose would be to hook up to the 83 200 and use it to haul stuff around, then i got thinking if i made it street legal i could hook It up to my old ladys 2013 chevy trax and drive across country or even into the states to pick up atc,s just an idea but I am at least going to build a small trailer that my 200 can pull around. It would be sweet to find one of those big red trailers, but ive never even seen one, just one pic of one the other day
Manbearpig, I think you may have a little more room in your 4runner (lengthwise), but I think you just answered my question on height. I'm gonna try to shove one in my ride in the next couple of days and see how I can fit everything else in around it.

This made me think of an idea, what do you think? My girl friend drives a 2013 chevy trax, its about the size of a honda crv, maybe even small. I want to go pick up a 200x roller with no engine for 100$ but its a 16 hour drive in total, that would cost about 300-400$ in fuel in my 2500hd so what about putting it on the roof rack of the trax? it would cost more like 60- 80$ in fuel

Get a cooler rack or mobility scooter rack that goes in the receiver hitch. My friend used to haul his 2 seater 6hp go cart around behind his wrangler on that rack thing. But make sure you have a 2" receiver, not that crappy little 1 1/8" that camrys have. Another friend hauls his 110 in the back seat of his 4 door sunfire. All he das to do is remove one rear wheel, 2 minutes to load up.

Its not an SUV but it still needs to be shown. That is two 200x's an 85 and an 86 a couple tires two 5 gallon gas cans and a tool box in the back of a 98 dodge mini van. The load was like 300lbs over suggested weight. This was a couple years ago and my mom was not happy when she seen her van.
