    yamaha enduro 360

anyone know anything about older yamaha enduros?
my brother in law just received a new to him 1974 yamaha enduro 360
he was told it was a 125 and though im not completely stupid im not sure of the true displacement of this bike.
it looks alot beefier than my 250 big red.
is the 360 in the name the displacement?

The true displacement of the motor should be cast into the cylinder at or near the base. The 360s are a beast!

well i finally had found a spec sheet online. i havent really had the chance to look closely at it other than to tell its alot bigger than a 125.
i was pretty sure they wouldnt paste "360" on the side of a 125 just had to make sure before i told him any different. Also, what is the purpose for the dual spark plugs? i've seen 4 cylinders with 8 plugs before and as i understand its some kind of emissions b.s. is this true with this bike? do both plugs fire in unison, or is the an order?
    also true displacement is 352cc

The second plug was for a compression release on the later ones like the 78 dt 400 I had used an automatic compression release.

i had thought that when he told me it had two plugs. however his has a spark plug threaded into each hole.
the wiring harness is a total loss someone at one point wanted to take all the electrical out of it and never did. only ripped everythingto shreds!

I did not know that. I thought the purpose of the twin hole head was to enable the owner to foul a pair of spark plugs at the same time. :lol Consider me schooled. Okay, perhaps not so much.
