    help needed with a 1979 XR500

    Friend picked up a decent XR500 but somebody hacked up most of the wiring. Anyone know of an online download for a repair manual or better yet a wiring diagram for one of these monsters?

    Got the big thumper to run Wednesday night! Thanks again Rick for hooking us up with the wiring schematic. Now We could use a good muffler for this beast! PM me if anyone has one for sale
