Blue Book values are pretty much irrelevant when it comes to these old trikes. I would bet that IF they even list it, they would only put excellent condition value at about 4 or 500 bucks, if even that much.

If you are looking to sell or buy one, look for as many of the same type of machine in your area as you can and you can get a feel for what they are worth. It will take some time though, these things are not all that common any more. And then you have to pay attention to how long something sits for sale without selling.

Or you could ask some folks here in the forum that live in the same rough location as you.

In the southwest, it seems as though trikes are a dime a dozen. I recall KASEY and a few others who live in that region picking up very descent 3rd gen R's for under $1000 many times. While in my area up here in the northeast, it seems a real descent 3rd gen will usually go for 1500-2000 give or take.

Prices really do vary from one region to another.

Exactly! And I'm sure your Z is worth much more than that!

Blue Book is useless for determining value of our old trikes IMHO

in know that in my area, people ask WAY to much for what they have. cars, trucks, quads, trikes... everything. before i bought mine from a co-worker, i looked around just to see what they were going for. on craigslist in albuquerque, nm, people are asking between 1500 and 2500 for BEAT TO HELL trikes... it blew my mind. im sure theyre not getting those prices, but they are selling them. it seems like i see about 2 to 3 a week come up for sale. i got mine for $1000, with a 4x8 trailer to haul it on, plus 2 and a half engines, and a pile of random spare parts.
