They are an absolute ball to play on - forget about suspension, power, top speed and just enjoy it for what it's worth and you'll be ok. You can't make something be what it was not intended for - but they truly are a fun little trike.

They're to narrow and they just suck, so you better just give it to me!! j/k

I have one. They got a pretty bad rear weight bias, they're little narrow in the rear so widing the rear well help allot. Pretty nice power curve. The foot pegs to me are a little small to me. They can get with it though, they can out run a 200S and keep up with a 200X and some little mods they can out run a 200X. Lets talk about the after market parts on them- 'reeds' thats about all you can in the after market, also pistons and gasket sets, but not real performace parts. You can always check ebay for parts for them to. They're also wheelie machines, just double bump the gas and your seeing sky.

The tri with the rear suspension belongs to trikeaholic

Here's a couple pics of mine.

i got one, well, its my dads, but its mostly mine, in 2 days i transplaned engines, got it all ready to fire up until i noticed i needed all new cables and such, it would cost a bundle, and i just wanted to kick around on it for a couple of weeks, but since i found out it needed cables i just took it off the stand and towed it behind the shop, i am still thinkin this weekend looks good to take apart the carb, grab the peice that fell into it (my bro just told me an hour ago that happened puttin it back together, stupid kid) and take off the oil injector, use that cable for the chock cuz i need a choke cable and try to get it goin, no brakes on it, just stall it out is all i would do, its quite ugly actually, john deere green paint on the plastics with a yellow strip on it, YUCK, oh well, not keepin it anyways

I made them out of Stainless steel, had a buddy center them (machinist) and another buddy weld them up. we copied the extensions I had already and just put a new bolt pattern on the outside to use Honda pattern wheels. The original hubs were too small in diameter to just put the 4 X100 bolt pattern on them, or we woulda done it.

    Trikeaholic,
Your bad shifter shaft days are numbered. If you didn't get my message on the phone the package is on the way. Hopefully you will have work to do tomorrow.

I had one when I was 11yrs old and loved it, I liked it better than my 83 200 Big Red that my dad bought me for Christmas, sold the 175 Tri to get 200 Big Red. Wish I would have keep the old Yamerhamer.
