Too many times I've seen guys on their big expensive electronic everything quads stuck scratching their heads about why something isn't working right on event day!!
Part of the reason I like my old trikes is their simple, uncomplicated, reliable design..
Whenever someone scoffs about my antique machines I invite them to show me how their EFI/Electronic traction controlled/GPS Naved/handwarming over-complicated land cruiser is working when it's 25 years old..
K.I.S.S. wins every time..
Cool in theory, thanks for sharing swampthang!!
Current toys..
1986 Honda 350X..trail bomb!
1985 Honda 250SX..my main mudder
1985 Honda 250ES..Back in Black Trike
Current non-trike toys:
1990 Honda TRX300FW
1995 Seadoo GTX
1998 Polaris Indy Lite 340(Nearly new looking)
1998 Polaris Touring 500
1998 Club Car (electric)
Problem is you probably see 1000 people broken down with dead points and crook condenser to only 1 guy with a dead ecu........not everyone can fix there own things so in theory the more reliable the better and points and carbs are no longer good for average non mechanical people....I can fix my own things and I'd take electronics in a heartbeat
Looks interesting, too bad I'm "EFI" (electronically freaking inept) when it comes to plumbing all those gizmos. I'd never be able to install it successfully, but I sure do love what a full loop system offers when its working right.
When fuel injection works it's a beautiful thing, but when it don't it's just as bad as an out of wack carb.
Anybody thats ridden a fuel injected atv will agree the instant starting and throttle response is a joy. Not to mention they will run at steeper angles. No more flooding out while ridding mile long wheelies!![]()

I looked at that companies gaseous small engine kit a while back for a generator LP conversion, SPENDY, but very well engineered on their part. The EFI would be nice on a trike i agree with the starting and throttle response, but man all that extra crap to plumb in and wire up, its bad enough fighting sensors and signals on newer vehicles with my computer hooked up to it, i don't want that trouble with my trike. I carry a spare CDI box in the toolkit, and other than that i could take a carb off on the side of the road with the stock toolkit and put it back together if i had to. EFI is all or nothing, at least with a carb if its not running right it still might run "good enough" to get you home sputtering and backfiring... LOL

In addition to everything in the kit, I think you would need a battery unless it comes with a capacitor, and I didn't see that.
