Teaching quads a lesson
What are the particulars of this machine, I think 87 or 88. My buddy has one that is MINT super low hours. Asking $1500. I wont get to talk to him till tomorrow. Are these electric start? I know its a 5 speed, manual clutch with reverse. Anything else? are they good for a chick?? (and possibly me once in a while) Can I get a plow for it??? What should I offer- is 15 a smokin deal?

I have only herd praise and good reliability about the 230. I can attest to their dead reliability, you see way to many up north with farmers, and kids beating the piss out of them with no matinence ever done to them. $1,500 seems fair, I would try to maybe see if he could come down a little. You see very few for sale because people with them want to keep them.

yepper.. i agree with all of that.. i had a good friend that had one back in the day.. they ran nice.. like a 250x honda almost.. same kinda feel.. for a mint 1500 is a deal.. they usually sell for around 1200-1300 for beat up ones here.. not sure how you can parts for them? never see them advertised.. might only be the dealers..

I'd have to say they have a completely different feel from the 250X but still good and if I remember right they are kick start.
