NEW KLT 110,160,185 GAS TANk

Clarke needs to hear from anyone who needs a new gas tank. Janet at Clarke said they need to have around 200 people interested in order for them to make the tank. I told them I'd provide one for them to make a mold. I will be buying two. So if you need one call them or send a message through contacts on their website. Does anyone know how many klt 110,160,185 were made that was one thing they called me and asked about. I thought there would be more klt guys interested in a new tank for their ride.

Honestly there just aren't that many of them out there.

I agree with fabio, just not gonna get enough interest. Probably not (200) KLT's on this forum that uses this tank. I have 3 trikes that could use them but probably couldn't afford 3 at one time. Same goes for the fenders. No one makes them and probably no one will. You also have to think about color. Some black, some red. Would they even split colors up on an order? If not you've cut your potential investors by 1/2. Not trying to be negative. I've just learned to accept that there isn't alot of cosmetic parts available for these machines Keep an eye on the forum classifieds and ebay. Every once and awhile something pops up.(I scored a NOS front fender) NOS or very nice tanks for these? Haven't seen one yet. Good Luck!

i remember calling clarke 5 to 10 yrs ago about these tanks said it wasnt enuff interest.there was a nos klt 110/160 tank on ebay like 2 yrs ago.black its still in the box down stairs.i got my 160 when i was 15 now in my 40s yeah i still got it.but i would still buy a plastic tank or 2

i remember calling clarke 5 to 10 yrs ago about these tanks said it wasnt enuff interest.there was a nos klt 110/160 tank on ebay like 2 yrs ago.black its still in the box down stairs.i got my 160 when i was 15 now in my 40s yeah i still got it.but i would still buy a plastic tank or 2

Let me know if you decide you ever want to get rid of it. Would definitely try to work something out.

thanks guys.for right now its not for sell i am planning on using it.i got a new cap and petcock just need the bolts.id like to find(or if someone makes the tank stickers.something tells me tho that clarke would sell quite a few 110/160/185 tanks if they made them.was it like 3-4 yrs those atvs were produced?i thought the 110 was made in 84 thats the earliest i can find in the mags

110 (84-86), 160 (85) 185 (86-87) What model are you looking for decals for? i plan on having blue27 here on the boards reproduce a decal set for my 185 as soon as life slows down a bit. Seen his work, own his signs, and a great guy to deal with. Shoot him a PM and see what he can do for ya.
Still want the tank though! LOL

No way that tank is still available. Most of these parts sites don't say that a lot of things are unavailable after the parts have been discontinued.
