    Rear Rim Offset?

I'm looking at buying some rear rims for my 84 250r. I keep seeing all these different rim offsets and I am wondering which offset should I get for my 2nd gen. I am using the 400ex hubs (same as 86-87 200x hubs).

    Thanks for any input.

Doesn't matter...it's all good. How far apart do you want your rear wheels? If you are the sort to want to put spacers behind your wheels, save you money and get rims with as much offset as possible.

Thanks. Yea I want a little space. I was looking at some 3/6 offset. I'm guessing the farther apart the two numbers are the greater the offset right? One more question: Should I go with 9X9 rims or 9X8? Does it really matter? Will it affect the tires I have to choose from?
