    Aftermarket Exhaust/Muffler

Can anyone recommend a decent aftermarket exhaust/muffler set up for a 1983 ytm200k? I'm not looking for anything that is loud or gives me extra power. Something simple and quiet would be perfect.

    Thanks

Don't know about the Bassani, but the DG's are loud. At least the one on my ATC 200 is. Buddy took mine to a campground where they allow ATV's and they made him put it up.

I have a Bassani on a YTM, it's pretty loud, even with a fresh repack.

Is there something wrong with your stock system?

The muffler is rotting and the previous owner has it wrapped in some sort of sheet metal. I'm afraid to take the stuff off to see what's underneath. I'll snap a pic this weekend and post it. The pipe seems ok. Just surface rust on it.

Thats a DG pipe, and it will be a lot louder than a stock system. Im not sure, but Cobra exhaust makes a "quiet series which should not be loud and obnoxious, just not sure if they make it for your model. The other idea is a supertrapp universal muffler. Its just the muffler, and if you leave all the discs in, and end cap, it is really quiet. You just measure your pipe and see if they have one that will fit. I have seen them for 60 bux, but that was a few years ago.

I checked out their site, but I don't think they make one for mine.
