    Honda CBR125R "Dual Sport"

Lmao, we had a guy show up at one of our Dual Sport rides on his CBR125R - thought you guys might get a kick outta his attempt:

There's also a bit more footage of him at around the 8 minute, 30 second mark of this video:

Poor kid! He was probably terrified and humiliated! At least he gave it a valiant effort. I would have told you guys to ride on and limped my way to the nearest paved road on that CBR.
Keep on Triking!!!! "I am the NIGHT RIDER!!!"

    RIP Ninja!

lmao, he actually DID stick around for the whole day... although he bailed on the route about 1/5th into it and just circled back to the finish location to wait for us there. There is more footage of him both before and after the crash in this video if you're interested:

I think it was awesome that the kid got out there like he did. Sure it's not really a good dual sport bike, but it got farther than most other sport styled street bikes would, and the guy really did try. But when you get around people who are older or have more experience, and they make it obvious that they don't have any faith in you, and start changing their ride to accomodate you it makes you ride WAY out of your level to try and impress them.
This is my trike. There are many like it but this one is mine. My trike is my best friend, and it is my life. I must master it as I must master myself. My trike without me is useless. Without my trike, I am useless. I must ride my trike true. My trike and I know that what counts is not the amount of miles we ride, but the time we ride together. My trike is human in it's own ways, therefore I will learn it as my brother. I will learn it's weaknesses, it's strengths, it's parts, and it's soul.

What an outregeously horrible idea. Putting dirt tires on a street bike, does not make it a dual sport. The poor suspension on that thing!! LMAO - kind of funny / kind of sad. For the price he paid for that bike he could have gotten a nice used dual sport.

You would have thought this experience might have changed this lad's mind... but nope! It just made him more determined to make his bike as "dual-sport" capable as possible... since that day he's put quite a bit of effort into modding dirt-bike handlebars onto his bike:

Lol! Thanks for the update man. I can't seem to get enough of this kid. Forgive me those of you who see this differently than I, but this kid is a class A bozo in my book. Just get yourself and on/off road bike and be done with it!

I agree with fabio. What is he trying to accomplish besides waste more money on this thing? I just don't get it. It does not have the suspension to ride with you guys, let alone the ground clearance, and the geometry of this bike compared to a dirt bike (Dual sport) is worlds apart.
