Suzuki DS 80 Thoughts, Possibly trade my Big Red for one?

Someone offered to trade a Suzuki DS 80 for my 83 Big red but i want to know from others who own one or have ridden one what their like, i'm 5ft10-6ft or so and weigh around 260-280+LB's, i asked the guy if it's big enough for a full size adult to get on to ride, he replyed back and said:
Ya it would be I am the same height and weigh 200 it still carries me and does 100 kmh
Thoughts? Should i trade or forget about it?

A DS80 is not going to make you very happy, its a very small framed trail bike and at 6ft you will have a hard time keeping your knees out of the way of the bars

Yeah, an 80cc of any brand is pretty much good for sub-160ish lbs riders if you want to get anywhere. Both my brother (6ft- 165lbs) and a buddy (5ft9in - 180lbs) bought 80cc two strokes when I bought my Fatcat.

One was an CR80, the other an RM80 but they both found that while they were still fast, when it came to hills or any tough stuff the bikes just didn't have enough tourqe to get them moving easily/fast. Both of them found the bikes too small framewise too, any they both upgraded promptly to bigger bikes.

I'd hold onto your BigRed and hold out for a trade for a bigger two or four stroke bike.

I have some vacation property in the Florida Everglades I would trade you for your Big Red..... The two guys above nailed it. A DS80 would not be fun for anything short of a not fun pitbike. It would be a horrible trail bike for someone of your size. It would be a great bike for a beginning rider at half your size. No offense.
