87 200x for sale on ebay NICE

Someone go buy this, only about 3500 were made. If I lived close to that it would be mine!

This is weird, I was looking at the Ebay auction for the 200x for $8000.

And look what I found. Here is a 2006 ad selling what looks like the same bike with the exact same verbage.

    1987 Honda Atc 200x 250r 350x Hondaline 1987 Rare Details
    Date: Mar.07,2006

    1987 Honda Atc 200x 250r 350x Hondaline 1987 Rare
    View the original Picture
    Offer Type: SELL
    Category: ATV
    Delivery Time: N/A

Specifications: Here you go collectors. A super rare 1987 Honda ATC 200X In this auction you win 1. The 1987 200x 2. Scanned brochures of the 350x and 250r ATC This is a true RARITY...Honda's glimpse into the future before the sale of NEW 3 wheelers CEASED in 1986. Not many 1987 's made it to the showroom floor. Many 1986 models never made it off. The 87's have the DISTINCT white plastic and KEYED IGNITION with new graphics.....87 ATC 250r's and 350x's are folklore....Here is a true 1987 ATC. Many people I have chatted with have no idea what a 1987 looks like ...many thought they had an "87" one but they really had 1986's with the red shrouds and no keyed ignition. Thats why I included the Scanned Honda brochure in the pictures so a little education can be done....This is a great machine for the collector .... Remember this 3 wheeler is 19 years old and looks better than many 1 year old ATV four wheelers i see out there....all bearings are tight and starts first kick...BUT YOU MUST TURN THE 87 KEY FIRST!!! You think ATC 250r's are rare...check how many are on ebay at any given time (lots of them). 1985/1986 ATC 350x 's dont have anything on the rarity of this machine!!!!How often do you see a 1987 3 wheeler let alone in this shape. Here are some numbers of production *****1985 ATC 250r's- 26,844,****** *****1986 ATC 250r's -13,093,***** *****1986 ATC 200X's- 18,000,***** *****1985/1986 350x's estimated in the 30,000 range and "THEIR COLLECTIBLE"***** *********1987 ATC 200x's 3,800!!!!!************ Buyer responsible for pick up or shipping costs...I will not crate but JC motors motorcycle transport doesnt require crating...check them out on the web. Here is the item number of a recent rare 1987 ATC 200x auction I watched(4601360475). You can get a relative value compared to the 1986 models. The price is 2100USD including shipping taxes.

And Then this is the one currently from Ebay

Here you go collectors. A super rare very low hour 1987 Honda ATC 200X. Original 1987 Honda 200X brochure, owners manual, Service Manual and Title. Sittinguy - the seller of the $8k bike is a member here and there are a couple threads in the proper ebay craigslist forum about these bikes. As far as the description goes - the seller may have gotten the description the same place you did and edited it as he needed for his sale. I have a couple old ads from other sellers saved because I liked the wording of the ad itself and I have and will again use them for my sales when I need them - some folks are better than others at wording things.

Yeah I took the wording from the other add because I wanted the production numbers for the bikes and did a search on google and the perfect add came up. I was surprised at the production numbers for all the other bikes and then the 87 200X.
