There's nothing like the sound of screaming 2strokes and the smell of race gas in the air
No signup. I did a preliminary earlier to get an idea, but would be near impossible to come up with any realistic numbers with so many separate independant social discussion venues, internet and private. I was able to get some useful trends from that data, though. After discussing it with the promoter yesterday, he agreed with the idea of simply doing random splits if either of the two classes exceed gate capacity (20 racers), like the CRA does. My projections are not nearly as specific as for normal race events but I'm estimating 50-70 racers with about 70% vintage and 30% open. This does not include the Mod 70 class which will probably be less than a dozen racers.
Thanks Tim. I was guessing at least 50 racers as well. See you there.

My flat track rubber arrived on my doorstep yesterday. I will be there running stock class for sure.
Am I ok to run my regular front knobby?
Regular...illregular, heck an empty 30pk carton whatever works. Most will be running the same.

Watch that... and look at Some of the names that are attending this race... You see there numbers throughout the video. This will be a big deal, and i will be happy to show them the back of the 333 bike.

They must have taken the vid down? The link was not working for me.
Here is where my long useless list of stuff nobody cares about should go...

Awsome videos, and racing news!
Glad it was posted in this section. I, like many non racers would have overlooked it.
Good luck guys! And CONGRATS (OTC) on such a huge achievment. Don't think my family can make the eleven hour trip yet, but would love to! Hope it all goes great and can partisipate years to come.

NOS, I saw that video a while back when I was researching. I regret that I never got the chance to meet Bill Fischer before his passing last October, but I think I'd have really liked him! You have to love a man who is not sorry for for offering people something so great, and yet is perfectly willing to send the ungrateful bit@#ers packing. He was famous for his "This place is MINE and I'll hook my dozer up to your @#$% and drag it to the street!".
