    1986 Yamaha BW80

I have owned this BW for a while but I recently got around to picking it up.(long story) It came partially disassembled and missing some parts. The pictures make it look better than it really is........... I swear.

Ok where to begin?! Besides total tear down for powder/paint, it needs a new top end and unfortunately the rod is rusty from sitting outside. So I will end up doing a full motor rebuild. Also on the list are new fork seals and swingarm bushings. It is missing some parts- oil tank/lines, exhaust, motor mount/bolts, engine guard, and I'm sure other stuff. The OEM plastic is discontinued on all the Big Wheels as far as I know. DC plastic has repro BW80 fenders but I am going to try my luck at sanding these out. An OEM seat cover would be nice to have but pricey. If anyone has any parts for one of these little guys let me know! I will keep you guys updated on the progress, wish me luck!

I think Raffa was just giving away a bunch of BW stuff. Might want to hit him up and see if anything is left!

Talk to Mrs.Mosh from www.cosmicquads.com about restoring your seat. If the majority of the foam is good it may just require a recover. The cost is what it is...and the Mosher's more than fare on pricing IMO. The quality is killer and you can't tell is been reworked...it's like it just came from the factory.

I just talked to them and they do OEM style BW seat covers for $75.
For $100, you ship them your seat, they give you the cover installed and ship it back for free!
