'91-'92 Honda fourtrax 250x sport quad, how much it worth today????

Hello everyone, I am about to buy a nice & are in great shape of 1992 honda trx 250x sport quad. bike looks real nice & in great shape, all original expect new nice tires on it. looks to be a barely use it. it's all stock with no aftermarket on it at all, all original motor. Runs & drive great. How much do you think it's worth ? I was thinking in between $700-800 bucks?? or

also I need to know something about it, does that quad has any issues being with 91-92 honda 250x??

Does any member owns one like that here on 3 wheelerforum?

If it's in truly excellent original condition, I would expect to pay at least $1000 around my neck of the woods, maybe a hundred or 2 more......

Okay, Bike is in great shape & looks clean & almost mint, looks like i will check the bike out today and do upclose with bike in person. if i want it or not.
by the way, any issues with this year and model of that bike? I know an 1987 honda 250x has one bad issue with 3 gears in past.

Nothing really jumps out in my mind. But I don't claim to know everything about them. All in all, they were a good little quad.

A 91 was my first quad. With NO (I think I changed the oil once) maintenance it lasted many years of every day riding through creeks, mud and all around woods abuse. The only part that failed was the CDI (probably from water)and the carrier pinch bolts tabs on the swingarm(I over tightened them repeatedly). The tranny gears were stronger than the early model so I would expect it to have no problems. I see them around here in the $6-1000 range but rarely do I see 91-92s. You have to factor they are basically the same as a 300EX so parts supply is virtually endless and cheap. Good luck

Sound a real good to me, then i will buy that 1991-1992 honda 250x quad then cuz they don't come around that much in my area dues that blue/while in color, they looks cool & neat bike to have, I just want to add it to my collections and riding it & enjoy twice each months. I have 2004 honda 300ex quad also plus 400ex, they are bulletproof and runs great. I really like mine 2004 honda 300ex it rides nice & comforable. if i buy that 250x quad soon then i won't to have to worry about battery anymore lol...
