    Fastest Production ATC??

I always thought the 350X was king shyt when it came to 3 wheelers.
Now I am thinking it might be the 250R.

Any input from those that are more knowledgeable in wheelers?

I have owned 3-3 wheelers in my lifetime.
I have traded up each time.
Next in line was the 350X,....but I hear that the 250R is the real way to go.

    Anyone?

Fastest Production ATC would be a tie between the 85-86 250r and 85-86 350X. I would say top speed would be very close between the 2. It would depend on your type of riding, or 2 stroke or 4 stroke preference to decide between the 2.

Fastest Production 3 wheeler would be the Tiger 500 hands down.
    Rides:
1986 ATC250R (sectional pipe and Klemm Research silencer)
1986 ATC250R (Desert Bike, WAX-ON seat, Dual Cibie lights, Steering Stabilizer)
1979 ATC110 (Bandito frame and forks, Turbo wheels, disc braked)
    1982 ATC70 (Lifan manual 125)
    1987 LT80 (piped, widened)

I agree that both machines are awesome!
Even tho I have not had the privilege to drive either of them.

2-Strokes are super quick on the low end,...but the 4-stroke will top out in the long run.
    I prefer to have a 4-stroke over a 2-stroke.

So I guess the trike I want is a 350X.

If you know someone who has both, see if you can give them both a ride. Granted I have never ridden a 350X, but my 86 250r is an awesome ride.

Those Tigers seem to be pure badass!

I did an eBay search on them and the only I found was a frame for almost 2K.
So they must be stupid rare.

Here's my thread about my Tiger 500. It isn't the prettiest and it's not the most original, but still a Tiger 500 and way more fun than the Tiger 250. The 250 is just brutal, not a pleasant riding machine at all.

    From the article!!

"And in the back the buyer has the option of 8 inch low profile R/A race tires or 10 inch TRAIL PRO knobbies"

So a 500 Tiger is how you shread these indestructible tires.

You can't generalize an entire group of machines like that. There are plenty of both types that excel and lack in their own departments.
