Picked this 78 ATC 90 Yesterday

Attachment 130120Attachment 130121Attachment 130122Attachment 130123Pick this up the other day as I figured it would be the next in line for the two grandsons when they outgrow the 70

The only problems I see are the front fender and the seat needs some work. Runs good, gas tank shows no rust. I see that the carb needs some work as I forgot to turn the petcock off last night and gas is running out the over flow tube on the bottom. Minor problem. The owner thought it was a 79 as that is what the sticker says on the frame under the gas tank. I ran the Vin and it came up a 78. Not bad for $250.00

Not bad at all. A good deal for $250. What's the story on the hole in the fender? It looks as though someone put too big of a tire on it and it wore through; but I would think the rear of the fender would have gone first?

There are four bolts that hold the front fender on, well two of them are missing, causing the fender to pivot down on the wheel, it must of took a long time to wear through.

Now you need to put a 200X front wheel on there and give it some Bling.

Check the rear axle bearing play before riding it too much. They were shot on my 79 110 but I rode it around the yard a bit anyway. I hit a low spot with the left tire and the chain broke. Luckily I was going slow so the slinging chain didn't do any damage.
