I'm more than likely going to get mine the day of the ride. You can just walk in a bike shop and grab em usually. You may be able to do it over the net, but I don't know that for sure.

I'll stop into the shop where I got my last regular registration and ask about doing reg's on behalf of out-of-staters and will post here Thursday with the answers.
Yes, if you do not need be present, I can handle regs for people that need them and mail them back. NH reg's require a driver's license number in addition to VIN. Better to have this stuff worked out in advance, more time to ride.

Reason I say regular registration, is because now I've got an antique OHRV aluminum plate on my machine. Good deal: over 25 years old, cost $50.50 and good for life- never expires. Had to go to Concord and get it directly from Fish & Game. HOWEVER, not sure if out-of staters can get this or just residents. I'll check into this as well and report back.

I'm on the NH/MA border and only 54 miles from Pisgah State Park, I'd like to join you guys, see if my buddy wants to tag along with his SX as well. I can do the 10th or 11th doesn't matter to me.

Yup, you're more than welcome Dave. Thanks for all the info and help, but I've never had an issue just rolling up and grabbing a reg. It only takes a few minutes.

That sucks that they won't do the antique plated for us out-of-staters. I would have loved to grab one of those!

    No eqivalent in MA?

I just checked in at Souhegan Valley Motorsports and they said you MUST appear in person to register a machine to present a drivers license and sign both copies of the reg.

ya better get your trikes up on stilts fabio!! your awful close to the coast!! you too !! if its all they say it could be you guys may be in for some nasty stuff!! I'm 200 miles inland, and its getting me overtime all weekend. Baby sitting metlifes data center!! you guys can haggle on date and location, i just want to ride. Whichever day can bring together the most riders would be best!! I'd rather put off some "to do's" so others can partake!!

Ha! TecateDan just reminded me that it was his boat I was on last hurricane! It's an 86 Chaparrel, 24ft I think? We were determined to make it to Edgar Town (on Martha's Vineyard) on Labor Day, hurricane or no hurricane. I took my chainsaw in the truck with us just in case. We slept in the boat on the trailer Friday night through the hurricane and then steamed through steady 8 footers the next morning all the way to the Vineyard. We got pounded on the way there. The only way we were able to make it was by staying in Dan's father's wake. Dan's father obviously has a bigger boat (which is what Quint needed). We got tossed on the way there and nobody else was at the Vineyard. I'm fairly certain we were the only two boats that went over that day. Stayed there Saturday night on the boat and steamed back Sunday morning, only to hit steady 6-8 footers with some rogue 10's. No escort for the steam back either, we were on our own. We almost didn't make it back to the trailer.

Here's the boat (from a different day)

Here's a pic from Dan's dad's boat of us behind them the day after the hurricane. Dan was like the Gorton's fisherman sawing at the wheel and running the throttle.

We do have a fresh hurricane coming.....

Oh and to keep on subject, let's ride soon.
