    Ninja 250R threewheeler

Sorry I don't have pics, but apparently you can just bolt up Honda 250R swing arm, and triples to a 2003 ninja 250R frame and have a 3 wheeler. I was tracking one down, and missed it. Some guy was selling it for $350, but wound up selling it for $700, but the person who bought it said it was too fast for her, so she put it on craigslist (posting gone) and sold it again. It's floating around NJ somewhere. I saw the picture, it had polaris rear plastics, and all the ninja body fairing on the front, looked really cool. Ninja 250R's have 28hp stock. The guy claimed he did 110 on it, but I don't think it could go that fast. But 70-80 no problem I bet. 28hp is like the same as a stock ATC250R. I will try to get some pics, I still have the last guys # who sold it.

A liquid cooled 250R has more then 28hp. Doesn't the '85 have around 33 or 34 hp and the '86 around 36hp. I think they were somewhere around that.

So do u mean it was a road bike?

My fiancé has a 2008 ninja 250. It is the new design not the old square ones. Hers will do about 106 mph so I highly doubt an older one with a 3 wheeler rear end will do 110mph. I will try and find put the horsepower of hers. It's a 4-stroke twin cylinder that's carborated.

    U really need those pics

The most surprising thing to me is that a Ninja 250 would go that fast but I just googled it apparently they do.

Dang I had an 03 Ninja frame a few years back from one that I parted out. I ended up giving the frame away on CraigsList because I didn't want to mess with shipping it.

They're surprisingly quick, but not exactly the quickest getting there.

Yea I would change the front fairing thing. But what is important here is the guy said that the rear swinger, and front triples from an 85-86R bolt right on and you have an instant three wheeler. I thought that was cool.

You gotta view it the opposite way too, you can most likely use the ninja swingarm to make a missile kit 250r... If the swingarms are a direct bolt on.

That person doesn't own it anymore. I tracked that thing through two owners. If I had known I could have had it for $350, but found out too late. It didn't sell for $2500, I think it sold for $700.

You couldn't do a missle kit I don't think because an atv tire wouldn't fit in the swinger.

So I am driving down the road and low and behold there is the three wheeler, so I stopped and snapped some pics. The rear suspension is as stiff as can be, the front is raked too much and has limited turning radius. No front brake. Pretty beat up, but still kind of cool in my book.
