New to the board
Looking for alternatives to buying fenders for my '84 Big Red. I can't find aftermarkets for it, and I think the TRX200 fenders might fit it. Does anyone know of anything else that might fit it or be a decent match? I don't mind doing a little fab work for brackets, as long as they fit decent.

The 82 and 83 200E Big Red fenders will work, you have to trim the left one a little to clear the gearbox. Also I am pretty sure the 200 M fenders are the same. Hope this helps.

other than the mounts, Maier told me the 85 250es maier fenders are the same mold, and you have to tap your holes anyways so they will work like new if you made your own lined up mounting holes, ORRRR i have a set of used, slightly "adjusted" rear fenders that have break in the rear pieces on both sides but other wise in great shape through the rest of them.

I just got rid of all my 84 br fenders (and trikes)
but seriously neeeeed fenders for my 85 br.
They're like chewed off tuna can lids with jagged edges right behind the knees.
did I blow it?
Pls tell me the 84 fenders wouldn't fit the 85

y would u try and put 84 fenders on an 85? just get some new 85 fenders.
