    can you bypass a kill switch?

    just wondering if there's a way to bypass the kill switch on a 84 225dx, maybe a toggle switch? figured we would try that before buying parts seeing as how it was under water / mud

    If I'm not mistaken, I believe you can just unplug it...the kill switch grounds the ignition, so unplugging it would keep it from being grounded

    ^ You are correct, on a Honda brown goes to ground in either off position and can be unplugged entirely. I don't have the Yamaha wiring diagram so I'm not sue if they are NO or NC.....

    still no spark and no power to the coil or the cdi, i'm guessing a bad wire
