I was wondering if rear hubs from a 450r or anything else would fit on the 84 big red 200es? The 4/150 pattern isn't too common, i can't find any spacers or aluminum rims, so i'd like to swap them out.

Hmmmm, lemme do some quick thinkin'.
The hubs off of a 450R will also fit a 400/300ex IIRC, those hubs will fit an 86 200x. Hubs off of a '79 Odyssey will fit an '86 200x. Those hubs will fit on my 84 Red.
The hubs should, but I don't think they'd fit the stock wheels.
This is my trike. There are many like it but this one is mine. My trike is my best friend, and it is my life. I must master it as I must master myself. My trike without me is useless. Without my trike, I am useless. I must ride my trike true. My trike and I know that what counts is not the amount of miles we ride, but the time we ride together. My trike is human in it's own ways, therefore I will learn it as my brother. I will learn it's weaknesses, it's strengths, it's parts, and it's soul.
the 200es has 24 spline hubs, almost all honda hubs are 24's. the 450's should slide right on, though you may have to use a washer as a spacer over the axle cone.

What would be the best hubs to use? I don't have any yet, i would be just buying them, but do they have different bolt patterns? I plan on using some of the block style spacers, 2.5" on each side, and then some aluminum rims, same size as stock.
Well, 400ex hubs will widen it out a couple inches.
I don't trust axle extenders, they have been nothing but trouble in my experiance, and they make it a hell of alot easier to bend an axle.

Is it possible to get aluminum rims that are offset, so that combined with the hubs i'll have a wider rear end?
The 400ex hubs will widen it by themselves, it they fit the wheels.
I've heard of people just turned around the wheels and widening them some like that.

honda 400ex/300ex/250x/450r, all these hubs are the same. they allow you the 4/110 bolt pattern. the wheel selection for this bolt pattern is numerous to say the least, big, small, wide, bead locks, etc etc etc etc.

I recently bought some hubs for my 84 big red. They are for the 300/400 ex. They bolt on just fine. They are 4/110 bolt pattern. Compared to stock. They each move the wheel out 3/4". Adding a total of 1 1/2" to the width. Then got some douglas aluminum rims. 9x9 with the 6+3 offset.
Total added width. 4 1/2".

just dont do like the idiot that sold me my trike did, weld the hubs on..
I like your setup trikeman! Are your wheels still 25 inches? What kind of tire did you use? I've been looking for 12x9 rims but I haven't found any, I wanted to use the tires I already have.
He is running 9x9 rims with 25-12-9 tires.
What other rim sizes would fit 25-12-9 tires?
