    Ram Steering Stabilizer

Dose anybody have some pics of a Ram steering stabilizer installed on a 85-86R. I found a couple of them upstairs in my stuff and its been years that i put on one. I would like to put it on my 85R build. Any help would be great. Thanks Glenn

hahahaha oh man... that one made my night.. thanks for the help..

One end bolts to the head stay on the rh side, the other end uses the r/h rear front fender bolt. You also have to trim part of the r/h radiator cowling on the inside.

I'd be interested in seeing that installed and using one if there is any advantage to it. Thanks

Thanks Guys, The problem I think I have is I'm trying to use it with a short track set up and I cant see that it will clear at total lock. Ill play around with it and let you know. As far as the ram it is a steering stabilizer off a VW not a hood lift if I remember right. I might play around with making a kit with the new ram that is used on the quads today it is half the size. Thanks Glenn

Its a cheepo Ebay stabilizeer, 110mm stroke(perfect for the wide 81-82 tripple) and 7 steps adjust and its rebuildable. Forkclamp is 2 fatbarclamps put together and bored out to 30mm. Welded a mount to the steering head.

In ruff terrain it helps a lot on my 82 to keep it going straight. But the 82 dont have the suspention like a 86 so you might not need one but it looks really cool that was enuff for me really.
