    toomey exhausts on banshees

I bought a 2010 banshee a couple of weeks ago and already I feel the need to modify it. I have been checking out full exhausts for them and came across the toomey brand, opinions on these would be greatly appreciated. I had a full pro circuit exhaust on the 01 'shee I just sold and liked that, just never seen or heard of the toomeys. Are they better than the FMF and pro circuit exhausts or should I keep clear of them?

A lot of the guys here in the dunes run them, so that must say something. To me the sound annoying though. LOL

IMO Toomy's are one of the worst pipes made for the banshee. It has a hard hit of power, but its late in the RPM range and they dont rev out worth a crap

Both my banshees run Paul Turner pipes (mids, and high's depends on the track and bike) But the PTR pipe is a low end pipe. If your looking for something with more top go with CPI or Shearer. IMO those are the only 3 pipes worth running.

thanks for the replies, much appreciated. I use the bike for mainly trails riding, with a bit of duning, low to mid would be ideal I think

A 2010 Banshee... NICE!!!! A lot of people wish they still sold Banshees in Canada and the US...

At one of our trike meets last summer, a couple guys brought their Banshees with T5's on them - here's a clip of them playing on the dirt hills... you either love or hate the sound of those pipes

When I was younger there was a kid who had a two into one Banshee pipe. It's been years since I heard it and I can't remember who made it, but I remember it sounding really nice.

It was dynoport that made that.I miss my Shee I had it worked for 110 octane, the t5s it sounded like a F1 car an went like 1.Im still trying to find anybike that has the rip the shee did.Nothing has impressed me since.t5s are good for ported motors the t6s are better if you leave it stock.DOnt forget to get a pro design intake kit as the stock 1s dont seal well and will suck dirt.We can thank the fricking EPA and CARB and Sierra club for the killing of 2 strokes.Pitchforks up all there @sses folks.

Find yourself 1 of those 2 into 1 pipes for trails and low to mid range type riding. Toomeys are great pipes...for high rpm type riding. Work even better with ported cylinders.

You gotta remember...the Banshee is a high strung rpm type motor....not a stump puller.

Been on a shee for 25 years, I've run PSI, FMF, and Toomy's with different reed setups and carbs. What are you going to do with it? Each set up has its best combo. TDR reeds and Toomey pipes geared up make the Banshee sing at the top end and nothing compares, Vforce reeds and Fattys make great all around power from low to high. If you want a trail friendly shee go with the Dyno port pipe, and trinity 2 in 1 carb (big bucks), but great trail racer combo. Have fun

Toomeys are way overrated and just a name.
If you want to run a tight trail Banshee...MOTOFAST 2-1 pipe is the set-up. Gear down to 12 tooth in the front sprocket and you will have as much low end torque as any 4 stroke.
Good luck finding a Motofast..They are getting rare.
They sound like a Indy car on crack.
