Instead I golfed 7 days later and tore up the track on my CR 250 after 9 days. The doc said I wouldn't hurt the area he repaired but the pain was too great at night for me to sleep so I waited two more weeks. We'll get better and heal up, please post some more pictures when you get the time. I'm still having fun on my trikes after 29 years. Thanks - Matt
Yea I cut the cast off after 6 weeks, way to soon but I couldn't stand it anymore. I still have it on now,I just put two hose clamps on it to hold it together while I work.I know,I knowI using a altrasound bone healing system on it right now for 3 more months to see if it works so I don't have to pay $15,000 out for a bone graft.

That was just my trail quad. I have a 1000cc chain drive V-Force for drag racing, and I am working on a twin 1000 motored V-Force and a twin 1000 Brute force for the heck of it.

Wow Mick, thats a LOT of dough to be "for the heck of it".

Hmm, my ulterior motive sense is tingling.....
This is my trike. There are many like it but this one is mine. My trike is my best friend, and it is my life. I must master it as I must master myself. My trike without me is useless. Without my trike, I am useless. I must ride my trike true. My trike and I know that what counts is not the amount of miles we ride, but the time we ride together. My trike is human in it's own ways, therefore I will learn it as my brother. I will learn it's weaknesses, it's strengths, it's parts, and it's soul.

Could you shed more light on the 200cc two-stroke?

what was the base engine for this and how did they achieve 200cc?

I`m asking specifically because I`m looking into something similar for a 200X flat track project I have been mulling over using a Blaster engine possibly

man you had better go easy on that arm

I grew up reading all about the atv racing scene in the 80's so of course I remember you mostly on a 200x based machine? cool to see you are still at it

Well Honda told me that each one cost $30,000 to build. They told me that as they were chewing me out for taking one back to Bend OR. I went to CAL. for a race one weekend and picked up my bike at Honda on a Friday afternoon. Saturday morning it was raining at Saddle Back Raceway so they closed it down. Me being from Washington state this was something new,if we didn't race because of rain we would have never raced! So Honda was closed until Monday, and I guess CAL closes down to when it rains,so I drove back to OR.Where they got real mad was we took it all apart and blue printed everything in case the put out a production model,we would already have the hop-up specs.Anyway it was a sand cast motor top to bottom, everything was a one off,but the gear box.It was a CR125 6 speed as we looked it up on the fish card. I don't have the specs but if you call Pete Fisher @Powroll he might still have all the specs.

I think I will open a new thread with more of my history, and I will talk a little more about it when I get more time to go though the scrap book.

Yea,I do a lot of projects for the heck of it,but it's kind of my dog and pony show to bring customers into the big tent for the show,if you know what I mean. People always remember this or that project I built and that's what keeps the customers coming back.

One of the last big ones was a $30,000 mud bogger named "Mudzilla" I did for Kawasaki and Maxxis tire.
