I will never own another two-ski machine. The single skis: SnowHawk, snowbike, timbersled, etc. are the only way to go. If you want to haul a sled behind your machine, get a two-ski. If you want to have fun get a single ski.

Ok, I lied. I bought another two-ski machine. But it's for the kids, I swear.

Anyway, this is the latest Enduro Alaska:

At least I think that it's the latest....

I picked this for $500. Planned on restoring it, until I flipped my truck on the way home and broke C1,C2,C3 andC4 in my neck. Now I have a cage on my head and a plastic IronMan vest to keep it i place. Anyway, it needs a gas tank, new perches and levers on the bars but that's about it. (Nice that it comes with both racks and a seat). Hard to wait 3 months to lose the Halo brace.

Any ideas on whether to restore the correct colors or should I just ride the hell out of it once it's trail worthy...

    Doink,

Holy crap. Sorry to hear about your crash. Were you trying to outdo Travis Pastrana? He's already flipped a monster truck but I'll bet he hasn't done a stock F-150 yet.

As far as the BW goes, I think you got a good project for the price. As you already know, DC has the replica side panels with the non-stock attach points. The tank is still available but is expensive. That bike looks like a good daily rider to me. I like blacked out bikes anyway.

The truck I flipped was a C20 and it happened when coming home from picking the 350 (yes, it flew 50 feet out of the bed and sustained damage to the clutch and front brake levers only). I've had it on CL for about a month and lots of interest, but no money yet. Maybe too close to the holidays? If I can make it run tomorrow, it will go to the Aussie outback to a friend of mine that lives there.

Anyone know what tank might fit the 350 with the seat retainer? If no retainer, I could always redneck-rig it. Isn't that what duct tape and bungees are for?
