    Tecate Kicker

    So I've been trouble shooting this dang thing for a while now and I finally get the darn thing to fire and then guess what happens the kick start breaks not the shaft but the kicker at the swivle any one else ever have this problem or am I just that unlucky.

    Common. I think it is often referred to as the "boss".

    You are not the only one and the kickers on most things break and fetch decent money.

    Good luck! I will be bidding against you I have been wanting a spare for a little peace of mind. And yes, it is a common occurance especially with high comp/big bore motors.

    No problem dude- if I come across any more of them I will let you know! I am supposed to look at a bunch of T3 parts soon that a local guy has, including 86-7 RIGHT and left shrouds and front fender- I am just trying not to act too eager.

    Guys...no need to get into a bidding war with each other...just go to your local dealer and order a new kick pedal boss. They're still available but in limited quantity...which means they're soon to be NLA.

    LOL, 180lbs, I either need to add another base gasket, a compression release or....... It starts great, just doesn't kick very easy. 3 or 4 kicks gets it going.

    I weigh around 165 and the damn thing kicks like a mule for some reason it didnt kick all that hard before I had an electrical problem but now hole crap does it kick back

    I dont think its timing because when it started it ran mint plus its got really high compression for some reason
