i have a 91 chevy s10 4x4, its got the 4.3 v-6 and 700r4 trans. the trans is junk. i'm wondering if i can use a turbo 350 trans from a 2 wheel drive and remove the tail housing and bolt the transfercase to the th350, its just a theory of mine, let me know what i need to do here. i'd like to run the th350 if possible. thanks dallas

the 350 will bolt right up to the 4.3 but not sure about the t-case, then is there any sensors in the 700 that send signals to the ecm for the engine? not sure on that eather

You would have to buy an adapter to go from the th350 to the transfer case, the output shaft is different in your two trannys, I believe advanced adapters has the stuff that you will need. Also the length of the trannys is different so the adapter will make up for it, otherwise you would have to make driveshafts.
