Why does my trike pull to one side during wheelies?

I thought my "pulling to one side" problem was caused by mis-matched PSI in my rear tires - but after getting the pressure in both tires to be as equal as possible, my 250R _still_ pulls to the left whenever I wheelie.

Here's a video showing how significant the pulling is:

What else could cause such a pronounced pulling to one side? Any help greatly appreciated!!

It's gotta be the circumference of the rear tires. One has to be a little bit bigger than the other. Try swapping them around and I bet it will pull to the right.

Tires or could also be bad swing arm bearings (chain would torque the weight to the left) a bent frame,or something else that would cause an exaggerated shift of weight

Thanks for the ideas guys, I'll look into each of your suggestions.

I immediately thought - hey, this could be it (swingarm bearings) since I know mine are in need of replacing, but on the 81-84 250R's the chain is on the right-hand side, so if there is slop/play in the swingarm bearing, I would think the trike would pull to the right in this case... but maybe I'm over-thinking things...

That's alright - you _are_ a Husky guy though (as am I) so that makes up for the fact you don't ride Honda

Have you checked in the mirror to make sure your buttocks are of equal size and weight? Unequal buttock distribution could be a problem! LOL Bearings, chain tension, rear axle out of alignment could all be possibilites. Balance can also be a factor as well.

I dont know man those wheelies look damn fine to me really tho, I would think it would pull to the sprocket side if anything. Must be worn pivot end?

I bought a new set of maxxix razor MX's for the back of my 200X.....with equal air pressure in them they not the same size, it pulls hard to the right during wheelies. Kind of disappointing for a $115 pair of tires. I have Kenda claw MX 18's on my 86X and they have no problems at all.
    Don't worry...just run watcha brung...

I got a pair of holeshots with this problem. Equal pressure it will walk crooked.
I tried swapping them left to right and it will affect the opposite side.
Long story short one needs 2 pounds more rhan the other.
Just compensate with air and run it.
