TRX 125 questons.

So I found an '87 Honda TRX 125 a few towns over for a decent price. Before I go and see it for myself, I have a few questions for you guys. I want to know how big/small this unit is as compared to an ATC 200 (can adults ride it). I am also wondering about the motor; it's not the 125 I was thinking of before the guy sent me the pics. I was picturing the 125 as in the ATC 125 (horizontal) and this one's jug is vertical. Does this mean this motor has more in common with the 185's and 200's? Here are the pics he sent me. He's asking 450 o.b.o. Is that about right? I don't know much about quads as far as what the older units are worth.

I had 2 86 trx 125's for the kids and yard work. no sup though but ran like a beast. we really beat the hell out of one and it still purred. I sold them last year to my buddy (400 for both)and he tore the motors out and put them in blaster frames for his twin 7 yr olds. they ripp. the guys around here do that so their kids can still race in one class.

I have one also. Im 200lbs and about 5 10". I can ride it fairly well. That style 125 is a lot peppier then the older ones. That one is deffenatly worth 450 as the plastic looks to be in good shape. That body style is harder to find good plastic for. Also some of the motor parts are hard to find also as the motor was only made 2-3 years.

I love riding mine mainly because its a 125 and no one believes it. I put a set of 200x rear hubs and rims on mine and some aluminum front rims. This is what mine looks like after I fixed it up. $180: for the atv $300: For rims, plastics, maintance and tires

Hey thanks a bunch guys . I'm going to head over and take a look at it myself tomorrow and hopefully add it to the fleet. I'm sorry about posting this here; I'm still kind of new and I didn't notice there is a section just for quads. I'll make sure to post there next time. But trust me, my heart still belongs to trikes.
