'85 250ES - '85 250SX carb swap?

hi all I was just pondering this, could you swap an '85 SX carb out with an ES carb? and if so what would that do for the SX? ex. run better, run bad, go faster, go slow....? both are complete and working and clean carbs 1 is on my SX the other off of a parts ES and is now on my work bench. thanks in advance

They are the same but the 86 model has slight changes to help for cold starts.
85-87SX and 85-87ES all interchange on carb side
Same jets and stuff.
Remember ES and SX have the same engine

oh i was looking at the top of the carb off the ES and thought it looked different(?), but apparently not, thanks for the info.!
