Remove carb - remove jets - clean jets, re install jets, reinstall carb, give her a go - sounds like a dirty carb problem to me!

had carb of no dirt in at all and fress fuel in tank
it has new fuel line al clean filter in tank and try again
The ES carbs are finicky with the smallest bit of crud in them... I had to take mine apart twice and rebuild it to get it running correctly. Also, double check and make certain the jets are correct size. I got a rebuild kit once with the wrong main jet (way too big)
Are you sure what machine you have? There wasnt a 200ES in 1985... 1985 was the first year of the 250ES
No trikes. Too old, too crippled. Unless I find one I can't live without!

put new jets in carb still the same tryed mates carb still no joy .it is a 1985 200es
I would start looking at timing, and also making sure the exhaust isnt plugged... Mice have created plenty of problems in exhaust systems....

ive moved the timing pulse rotor still runs the same. it runs good on half choke
How is the exhaust? If it runs decent on half choke, it leads me to believe you need to fatten up your jets.... (it isnt a former "high altitude" machine is it?)
