    110 fuel lines question

    Need to know which fuel line need to go carb. Stupid me. I did not pay attention when I removed the lines.

    Also need to know what position the valve above should be in when starting the engine.

    Anybody with any help?? I suppose could just try switching the lines but I'm still having carb issues (see other thread) so I want to make sure that I have the fuel flowing right in the first place. I had to replaced the lines since the old ones had some dry rot.

    I don't remember off the top of my head, but use a flashlight and look into the tank and you can figure out which line is which. The line out that is reserve will sit lower in the tank. Run the gas line from that one on the tank to the input line labeled R on the petcock. After I figured out which line was which on my old 110 I used marker to write on the bottom of the tank to label them.

    You can have the petcock set to ON or RES when starting. If you fuel level is low then you will want to have it on reserve, but otherwise just leave it to on.
