I see many trikes have the same model with a differen letter. 200s, 200m, etc.
Does the letter designate something specific across the board? Or is it just random?

for honda the s is for "service" and r is for race es is electric start as for the rest i'm not sure, i may be worng on the s,r,and es?
I always thought "S" was for "sport"?
S,E,ES,M are usually utility models, X,R, and SX are sport or racing.
You will cry, you will scream if you've heard half the **** I've seen.
Are you gonna get up and burn an X in your head?

From what little knowledge I have:
S = no reverse, no elec. start. Chain drive
ES = Elec. Start, reverse?, most are shaft drive (wasn maybe one year that was chain? 84 BR?)
M = Same thing as S but with elec. start. Larger gas tank + tires, also.
R = 2 stroke racing bike
E = Not sure
X = 200s but with manual clutch, suspension frame, kick start.
Not to hijack this guys thread but will the fenders of a 200m fit a 200s?
i thought the 84 br was a 200e??? a 84 br is chain driven

Number is the engine size, letter is a code for the features on the trike. The letters don't actually "stand" for anything.
I am pretty sure the 84 big red was a 200 es and shaft drive. the 83 was 200e and chain drive.
85 atc 200s
85 200x ( auto x project

84 br's were shaft. prior were chain. 85 and 86 were 250cc shaft and kick start.
i always thought the s in my 200s stood for suspension or superawesome

200s was for "sport" some said it was for "small", first came as the 200s and 185s (smaller frame versions of the same full size 200 and 185 (1980) bikes)
200e "electric"
200es "electric shaft"
200x "cross" or motorcross version
250r "racer" basically all 2-strokes
83 Big Red (200e) was chain driven
84 Big Red (200es) was shaft driven, had reverse attached to the awkward HI/LO range
85 Big Red (250es) was shaft with a 250 cc engine, reverse switch on the left brake
All kinda makes sense until you get to the 200m. That was chain driven but had electric start, never found out what the "M" was for...
Hope this kinda makes sense...
S = Suspension
ES = E-Start with Suspension
M = I have no ****ing clue.
R = Race
E = E-Start
X = Cross Platform *Race and Trails*
SX = Suspensed Cross Platform
The title for the 86 350x has it as a ATC350R
Nothing to ride... for now
