    will gasoline eat seals?

    If I has put gas where my crank is, would that have ate my seals?

    In what? If it is a stroke it will not but if it is a fourstroke and sits for a while it could do damage, i guess.

    shouldnt really bother them, but i wouldnt leave it sit for a long time, what are you planning on doing?

    my R, i had radiator fluid go in the bottom of the crank, and i flushed it out with gas, and then there might have been some left when it was all said and done.
    I don't think this might have caused it, but i thought i should ask.

    I ate a seal once... tasted like chicken. Seriously unless you let the gas lay in there for weeks or months you should be fine....

    i was going to say this earlier, but i prefer to flush stuff with diesel fuel, seems to clean better than gasoline, and you dont have to worry about flashing it near as bad.
