83 homda ATC 110 Shifter shaft removal

    I just bought a lot of six 3 wheelers and the 83 ATC 110 is the nicest one but has the shift lever brazed on to the shifter shaft.Do the cases need to be split to replace it? Any advice is would be awesome,,,,Tim,
