I have an 82 110 barn find. I cleaned out the gas tank, changed the oil, replaced some electrical parts and she starts on the first pull. One issue I am having...when I take tight turns in first gear, I hear a clicking noise. Does this bike have transmission fluid or is it lubricated by the engine oil? If it does have separate transmission fluid, how do I check it and what should I fill it with?
They don't have transmission fluid, lubed by the engine oil. It maybe your chain or axle bearings if it does only when you take tight turns. I would think that if it was the transmission it would do it constantly.
