To determine the number of links in a chain, count the pins.

according to a parts magizine i am looking at brad,,, the 86-87 200x's use a 520 x 86 chain on the stock 38 rear tooth + 13 tooth front sprockets.

86 links counting the chain link as near as i can figure,,,
