Can you guys give me some suggestions? It has been over two months since I last started my 350X and I noticed a lot of noise coming from the top of the motor. The sound is comparable to something loose and vibrating at an extrordinary rate. The noise chimes in at about 2000 + RPM. Need my valves be adjusted/tightened? I havent adjusted them ever since I bought the bike a few years back. Any suggestions? And if adjusting is required, can someone please tell me the specs. Thank you for your time.
Cheers, Beerchug

The first thing I would check is to be 100% sure your getting oil to the top end. Then check the valve clearances. I am going from memory here so someone correct me if I am wrong.
.002 for the intake and .003 for the exhaust.
If the above don't fix the noise issue I would check the timing chain and or take the top cap off and inspect the cam and followers for wear.

Take one of the valve caps off. If you take off the lower ( front ) one there should be plenty of oil in there.
