esr 310 kit worth it?

Is it really what it is cracked up to be? What if I bought a 295cc kit, had my cylinder bored, and I put that in... isn't that basically esr's 310 kit without the port and polish?

I would like to hear thoughts on people who have purchased the bolt on cylinder/piston.... did you use the stock crank/rod? everything hold up ok? and are you running a 34, 38, 39 carb? just looking for options on my build thanks!! :cool:

AN ESR 310 IS LESS THAN 295 CC'S NEw... they don't tell you that you have to bore it all the way out to get 310cc's i have a couple of them and they do run nice,,, it all depends on what you want out of it,,, daily rider, dragger ,a duner.. they all require a different port job th be really effective,,,,
