Well it ai'nt very often that I get bragging right's but I gotta tell you all it sure feels good when I can.I kept this build under wrap's for the past few month's with the anticiptation of showing it off at TF '09 and suprising alot of people, imo.I'd like to introduce my newest build the 2010 MDR 70 which is actualy based on a 2005 CRF70 and the kit can be assembled to any XR/CRF 50 and or 70,so basically you can go to the dealer and buy a new CRF dirtbike and in the afternoon be riding a Trike. I kinda dropped hint's every now and then in post but was'nt gonna let the cat out of the bag.It all started as a prototype design that I would'nt call a failure but a learning curve on what too do and not too do with the Honda Z50R.After getting the design figured out I had the Tripple's custom made with the Muddogs Logo etched into the tops, inverted fork's in front with disc brake's.On the rear I designed a custom bolt on swing arm assembly using the existing stock CRF 70 swinger, welding on a rear hub and brake mount's for the rear caliper. One thing thing I did learn on the prototype build was that the stock CRF rake with my custom tripple made for an almost perfect rake on the front end as the finished product, and best of all nothing was welded or modified to the stock CRF 70 so going back to the CRF would be as easy as unbolting the 3 wheeler component's and putting the OEM bike part's back on.I'll elaborate more on this build with more details and answers in the Mad Scientist Forum with ton's of pic's later,so you's can ask all your questions in that thread.

I gotta say at the award's ceremony I was almost in tear's when Billy handed me the award,I was sooo damn excited, believe me with the other guy's up there that were nominated I did'nt think the award was going home with me,and let me tell ya's the other guy's had some super nice machine's I mean real nice machines.I wanna say thanks too everyone who yelled for me and hat's off to the other guy's who were standing up there with me,in my book we were all winner's that night.I know it was only a piece of paper that I brought home but it sure does feel good as other builder's will I'm sure say the same ,that those late night's and hard work that you've put into your build get recognized. All I know is that next year I'm sure even more awesome build's will be made and I better come up with something really good cuz we all know that there's gonna be some sick builds again. Thanks again everybody for the award, now I know how Jason Hall's felt like year after year after year..:w00t:

Roger, that little bike Is not only cool, but VERY well though out!!! I think the coolest part Is that you added everything on without a change to the existing frame. Great Job, you deserved the award :w00t: I dig that Trike :beer

it seems like there aren't any limits to a kit like this. Soon you could be building one for a crf450....right? Anyways that thing is awesome good job.

Naw,I gotta kinda laugh about that about building the CRF450,I think I'll let Jason Hall do those.I don't have the reasearch time into the 450's like other's do and I really don't wanna try to build something that somebody has already done,so I'll leave the 450's alone.I do have thought's on building an orange and black one ( hint, hint) though. Thanks for all the compliment's guy's..
