Bought a 200X earlier this spring. I haven't had a chance to use it much yet, but I finally got to ride around the yard the other night. I get a "whoosh" of air when I compress my forks. No visible oil leaking. I'm guessing that quick deflate sound is not what its supposed to sound like. Service manual doesn't specifically address this, other than to rebuild the forks, which I may do anyway. They don't seem unusually soft to me but I don't have much to compare them to except the 300EX. Could the air valve in the fork tube caps leak?
Any help appreciated.
